Paranoia

Paranoia

Are Macbeth’s paranoia due to his own weakness or a consequence of what he did?
In my opinion, Macbeth's paranoia was because his conscious was kicking in. It wasn't because he was weak of holding in a secret but it was because of guilt. He was guilty about the murder. He knew that what he did was wrong but he also knows why he did it. His fear was getting to him that it just became worse by his conscious.
