Manliness

Manliness

Discuss the question, what does it mean to be a “man”?  Do you agree with Lady Macbeth’s view? Or do you think Macbeth’s consideration is more “manly”?
To be a man is to be dominant and strong. I agree and don't agree with Lady Macbeth. I agree because Macbeth is not acting manly. He's showing her that he's afraid of what's going to happen. He knows that when he kills Duncan there's going to be consequences. I also disagree because he goes and kills Duncan.

Prediction about Banquo

Make and explain your prediction: What will Macbeth do about Banquo?
Macbeth will probably go and kill Banquo himself or will have someone else kill him for him,

Paranoia

Paranoia

Are Macbeth’s paranoia due to his own weakness or a consequence of what he did?
In my opinion, Macbeth's paranoia was because his conscious was kicking in. It wasn't because he was weak of holding in a secret but it was because of guilt. He was guilty about the murder. He knew that what he did was wrong but he also knows why he did it. His fear was getting to him that it just became worse by his conscious.

Who is weaker?

Weakness

Who is weaker? Macbeth or Lady Macbeth?  Why?

I think Lady Macbeth is stronger because she has a more of a stronger character but is also weak too. She's the one who forces and pushes her husband Macbeth to kill Duncan and do other things to make him become king. In the beginning of the play Macbeth sort of hesitates on trying to kill anyone. He was showing that he was scared. What Macbeth was afraid of was for someone to find out it was him who murdered Duncan. But at the same time she's also weak because she basically turned out to be kind of crazy. She sleep walks with a candle in her hand. At the end she kills her own self.

Do you trust me?

Do You Trust Me?

Duncan says, “There’s no art to find the mind’s construction in the face: / He was a gentleman on whom I built absolute trust.”

Discuss the issue of trust.  Is it ever possible to truly trust someone?  Be sure to cite evidence on both sides of the issue.
Personally I think you should trust yourself first. There is a possibility that you can trust someone else. I honestly trust my mother only. Shes the women who birth me and gives me advice about everything, People say they also don't trust family, i understand not all family can be trusted. Trust is earned not give blindly.
